Michel Redde

Fascinated all his childhood by the drawing, the painting and the sculpture Michel Redde was predestined rather towards an artistic career.

At 25, his father Pierre dies brutally, then he chooses to take over the family domain.

Throughout his entire professional life, he exercised his wine grower's job by allying his passion with his taste for the art, as well in the way of cultivating his vineyards that in the wine making and the marketing of its wines.

Some years before retiring, he confides the management of the domain to his son Thierry, to dedicate itself to his first vocation: ART.

He joined l'Ecole des Beaux Arts à Bourges to attend courses and perfect his charcoal, pastel, Indian ink and oil paint technics.

His hangouts were the edges of the Loire, in particular in the small village called "Les loges" where he spent a big part of his childhood.

In the middle of his life, he chooses the Basque country to recharge one's batteries where he will paint numerous canvas.

Today, we are proud and happy to possess this private collection of more than 100 canvas with which some are reproduced on the labels of our prestigious vintages.
